1974 – Kayson Green Limited Founded
Kayson Green Limited is founded by W J (“Jim”) Cleverly, Mike Cleverly and Gisela Cleverly. Kayson Green remains a family managed and controlled business to the present day.

1974 – IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ATLANTIC
Kayson Green is appointed the sole UK and Ireland distributor for “Atlantic” high precision abrasives – a prominent and respected name throughout the industrial world.
1986 – Sole Distributors for Lukas Erzett
Kayson Green expands its abrasive product offering through its appointment as the sole UK and Ireland distributors for Lukas Erzett – a highly regarded abrasive tool manufacturer based in Germany.
1986 – Warehousing facilities
Kayson Green relocates to premises with warehousing facilities to enhance delivery lead times.
1987 – STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP WITH Lukas Erzett
Kayson Green becomes a partly owned subsidiary of the Lukas Erzett group of companies, whist maintaining its roots as a family-controlled firm.
1994 – Sole UK distributors for Rottluff GmbH
Kayson Green is appointed sole UK distributors for Rottluff, a German-based manufacturer of cutting and grinding discs.
1994 –EXPANSION OF OFFICE AND WAREHOUSE FACILITIES
Due to expansion, Kayson Green relocates its head office and warehousing facilities to a larger premises.
1994 –CERTIFICATION OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Kayson Green’s focus on quality management is recognised through achieving ISO 9001 certification – an accreditation which the company holds to the current day.
1999 – 25th Anniversary
Kayson Green celebrates its 25th anniversary with partners and customers with a cross-channel sailing challenge. Many participants in this event are still active customers to this day – you know who you are!
2000 – Investment in Expansion
Kayson Green invests in further expansion of the warehousing and logistics centre.
2006 – ENHANCED DIAMOND AND CBN PRODUCT OFFERING
Specialised diamond and CBN abrasive wheels manufactured by Italian based Cafro, is incorporated into the Kayson Green product range.
2011 – Rottluff GmbH
Rottluff GmbH becomes part of the Lukas Erzett group of companies, which is subsequently merged into the Lukas brand.
2015 – PRECISION POLISHING WITH MICROFINISHING FILM
Keeping within our realms of technical know-how of abrasives, Kayson Green works in partnership with Precision Polishing (part of the Biffignandi group of companies) to exclusively bring their products to UK industry and thus further complementing our product offering.
2020 – CELEBRATING A CENTURY OF ATLANTIC
2020 marks the centenary of Atlantic GmbH. Kayson Green are proud to have been a part of almost half this heritage!
2024 – CELEBRATINg 50 years in industry
Established in 1974 we are proud to have reached such a milestone. We have also passed our renewal audit for ISO 9001 which we have now held for 30 years, ensuring we achieve the highest quality standards.
